We are looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist, who will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow across the warehouse. You will lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with teams to embed new processes and deliver measurable results.
About you: You will have a solid background in continuous improvement, ideally within a warehouse or fast‑paced operational environment. You are confident analysing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and developing practical solutions. You collaborate with teams, communicate clearly, and take ownership of driving improvements from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse to enhance efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
- Analyse current processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions using structured improvement methodologies.
- Work closely with operational teams to map workflows and redesign processes that support productivity and accuracy.
- Use data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify trends, highlight issues, and drive decision‑making.
- Implement process changes, ensuring thorough testing, communication, and training for affected teams.
- Facilitate workshops, problem‑solving sessions, and root‑cause analysis activities.
- Monitor the impact of improvement projects, reporting results and ensuring sustainable long‑term change.
- Support the development of a continuous improvement culture by coaching, influencing, and upskilling colleagues.
- Standardise best practices across the warehouse and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with leadership to align improvement activity with operational goals and site strategy.
- Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimisation, or operational excellence ideally within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insight into action.
- Experience leading improvement projects from concept to completion, delivering measurable results.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels.
- Confident running workshops, coaching teams, and facilitating problem‑solving discussions.
- Highly organised, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to documenting processes and improvements.
- Comfortable using operational systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to challenge current practices constructively.
