We are looking for a resourceful and hands-on IT Manager to join our new site management team who can support the successful set up, launch and embedding of our newest site. You will take ownership of our warehouse’s IT infrastructure and systems, supporting the needs of the various stages of the build project right through to continuing to develop best practices and providing a high level of IT support to all areas of the site once we are operational. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy and is confident managing everything from hardware and software support to network reliability and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all IT systems, hardware, and software across the warehouse.
- Provide first-line support for technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and connectivity.
- Liaise with external IT service providers and vendors for specialist support and procurement.
- Ensure data integrity, backup procedures, and cybersecurity protocols are in place and up to date.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, licenses, and IT procedures.
- Train and support warehouse staff on basic IT usage and troubleshooting.
What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in IT management or support, ideally within a warehouse environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of networks, hardware, software, and cybersecurity.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms (desirable).
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
