We are growing our onsite Maintenance Technician Team. You will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Engineer and Site Engineering Manager in all aspects of installation, maintenance and repair of equipment that is essential to the efficient and safe running of the facility. This will include electrical and pneumatic powered machinery as well as gas powered boilers and steam generating equipment. You will use your technical skills and experience to enable you to complete daily checks and maintenance of machinery, following best practices and always maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others. You will also be performing routine cleaning and maintenance checks of key equipment across the warehouse. This will involve inspecting and troubleshooting issues reported by the operational team. This is a varied role with long term development opportunities as we continue to grow and expand the business. Your skills and experience will include: Proven experience in a hands-on technical role, used to working with hand tools NVQ level 2 is preferred An understanding of health and safety and safe working practices such as Lockout-Tagout would be advantageous. IOSH preferred. Proficient in English, able to read and follow manuals and instructions Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and CMMS Problem-solving skills Strong Interpersonal skills
