Your Responsibilities

  • Manage access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Patrol buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect issues
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and queries
  • Check and challenge ID passes in a professional and friendly manner
  • Activate/deactivate alarms and lock/unlock buildings, rooms, gates, and barriers
  • Identify and report Health & Safety concerns and administer first aid if required
  • Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, using computer and paper-based systems

Shift Details: This is a relief role covering holiday and sickness, flexibility and reliability are essential to support your team.

Essential Requirements

  • SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) licence
  • Proven background in security, ideally corporate security
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Competent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • First Aid at Work qualification
  • SIA CCTV (PSS) licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role
