ICTS (UK) Ltd is expanding its Aviation Security (AvSec) Training Team to support the continued delivery of high quality training and to ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements at Glasgow Airport. We are seeking dedicated, professional individuals with a passion for training and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards in aviation security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver initial and recurrent training courses, including:
  • Ground Security Operative (GSO)
  • Ground Security Supervisor (GSS)
  • Aircraft Security
  • In-Flight Supplies (IFS) (All in accordance with CAA regulatory requirements)
  • Oversee and support internal training programmes such as:
    • Digital National X-Ray Competency Testing (DNXCT)
    • Computer-Based Training (CBT)
    • Health and Safety courses
  • Deliver additional security related training as required by ICTS and ensure timely distribution of certificates to HR and local management teams upon course completion.
  • Maintain and update all training records and ensure compliance through accurate tracking and regular monitoring of all training activities.
  • Lead by example, motivate staff, and take responsibility for the standards of training and training documentation within assigned areas of responsibility, including the maintenance of training records and regular review and upkeep of training matrices.
  • Oversee, deliver, and maintain records for On-the-Job Training (OJT).
  • Conduct covert and overt testing as required, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded.
  • Monitor daily performance of officers and provide support and feedback where necessary.
  • Maintain your own Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to meet accreditation requirements.
  • Comply with all Quality Assurance Framework requirements.
  • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Conduct quality audits of training and create action plans where needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, business partners, and third-party stakeholders to provide guidance on training related matters.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Training Manager.
  • Person Specification

    Essential:

    • A minimum of 5 years checkable background
    • Ability to obtain Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) clearance
    • Flexibility with working hours
    • Professional, presentable, and reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Computer literate
    • Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills
    • Strong administrative and organisational skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
    • Full UK driving licence (preferred)

    Desirable:

    • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or PTTLS (or equivalent)
    • Knowledge and experience of delivering AvSec training
    • Completion of GSO and GSS training
    • ASM Qualification
    • RFXI Qualification
    • Certified Instructor Number (CIN)

    This role is based at Glasgow Airport, with flexibility to travel and provide support at other locations as required for operational needs.
