In this high-profile role of Security Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of premises and people at a prestigious client site. Working as a key member of the security team to deliver the Security and Safety Service, you will carry out a range of duties:
- To effectively monitor CCTV for the prevention of crime and to ensure the Health and Safety of staff and visitors.
- To deal with fire system isolations and reactivations, as directed.
- To efficiently respond to alarms on the access control system and dispatch officers in response to case alarms.
- To accurately maintain the Fire log.
- To dispatch initial first aid response.
- To dispatch officers to investigate stage 1 fire alarm activations.
- To assume the role of Incident Controller until Duty Manager arrives within opening hours.
- To co‑ordinate the distribution of staff during an evacuation.
- To complete Incident reports / Statements as required and to maintain record of events during an incident.
- To complete and maintain the DOB (Control Room log) and ensure this is kept legible.
- To complete the Staff log and the Operations log.
- To co‑ordinate the logging and storage of high value lost property.
- To report and investigate any acts or omissions that may compromise health.
