Your Responsibilities
- Manage access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Patrol buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect issues
- Respond promptly to customer requests and queries
- Check and challenge ID passes in a professional and friendly manner
- Activate/deactivate alarms and lock/unlock buildings, rooms, gates, and barriers
- Identify and report Health & Safety concerns and administer first aid if required
- Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, using computer and paper-based systems
Shift Details: This is a relief role covering holiday and sickness; flexibility and reliability are essential to support your team.
Essential Requirements
- SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) licence
- Proven background in security, ideally corporate security
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong customer service skills
- Competent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High standard of personal presentation
- Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion
Desirable (Not Essential)
- First Aid at Work qualification
- SIA CCTV (PSS) licence
- Previous experience in a similar role
