LOCATION β London Heathrow Airport
POSITION β Security Officer (Permanent, Full Time, 40 Hours Weekly)
HOURS OF WORK β Shift work (Various Shift patterns)
CLOSING DATE β Ongoing
KEY TASK AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing versatile security functions including, but not restricted to, X ray Screening, body searches, bag searches, aircraft searches, access control, document checking, and passenger interviewing etc.
- Use of security industry approved systems, such as metal detectors, ETD machines, and hand-held tablets.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- 5-year checkable work history
- Full colour vision and hearing that meets our required standard.
- The physical fitness to cope with long periods of standing, sitting, bending, and walking.
- Good command of English, spoken, written and for fluent communication additional languages are always a bonus.
- Able to work under pressure and a warm, engaging personality, positive, friendly approach, customer service skills.
- Punctual, professional and attention to detail
- Willing to support operations out of LHR as and when required (upon agreement)
YOU MUST ALSO BE:
- 18 years or older to start training.
- Happy to complete our pre-employment, criminal record, and counter-terrorism checks.
- Available to complete full-time training for your first 3 weeks.
- Able to start as early as 4:15am.
