LOCATION: Edinburgh Airport

POSITION: Security Agent

HOURS OF WORK: Minimum of 20 hours a week

REPORTING TO: Security Supervisor

Hire Type: Permanent, Temporary

Security Agent rate: £***** per hour

In more recent years, ICTS has expanded its portfolio to incorporate a wide range of customer related services including airline representation. Dedicated to continually improving and refining its products, ICTS invests considerably in the development of new tools and procedures.

We are currently recruiting Security Agents to work within our Edinburgh Airport Aviation Operations. The role will include:

  • Interviewing Passengers
  • Aircraft Guarding
  • Aircraft Hold searches
  • Patrol of Aircraft ramps
  • Searching Passenger bags
  • Use of ETD technology

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following:

  • Process Catering consignments including searching and sealing.
  • Providing security screening through physical searching and the use of technological aides.
  • Lifting baggage.

The minimum contract we can currently offer is a 20 hour a week with a shift pattern of 6 on 3 off, this would be a minimum of 4 hours per day usually with an early start.

  • Excellent Written/Spoken English and good communication skills
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • The ability to work under pressure and utilising your own initiative
  • Energetic and target driven
