ICTS is looking for reliable and technology-savvy Security Officers to ensure the security and safety of premises and people at our new Data Centre site in the Hillingdon area. The role involves working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, with 12-hour shifts covering both days and nights. ICTS is rapidly becoming the leading Security provider for Data Centres in the UK and offers competitive wages that reflect this position.
As an experienced Security Officer, your duties will include:
- Managing access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Patrolling the premises to deter and detect issues.
- Checking and challenging ID passes professionally and courteously.
- Managing alarms and unlocking/locking buildings, rooms, barriers, and gates to prevent unauthorized access.
- Monitoring fire, security, and building systems, including CCTV.
- Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and providing first aid if needed.
- Responding to customer requests and queries.
- Maintaining incident records using digital and paper systems.
An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential. To succeed, you will also need:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
- Experience in a customer-facing security role.
- Five years of checkable employment history and references.
- Ability to pass a criminal records check (CRC).
Additional useful qualifications include:
- SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) CCTV license.
- Experience in similar security roles.
Full training, uniform, and safety equipment are provided.
