IT TechnicianMidlands & North West (travel to schools required; some work throughout England)
- Full time, permanent (part time considered)
- £26,000 – £32,000 per annum depending on experience

The Role
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable IT Technician to deliver high-quality IT support and installation services to schools across the Midlands and Northwest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site IT support across multiple school sites
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems (client and server)
- Configure and manage network switches and wireless systems
- Support and maintain AV equipment, including projectors, screens, and sound systems
- Assist with user account management, software deployment, and IT housekeeping tasks

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience supporting IT in a school or education setting
- Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2019+)
- Experience with switch configuration and wireless network management
- Experience of a server based network environment
- Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and its integration in classrooms
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
Desirable:
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)
- Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for Education
