Field Service Engineer position based in the Northwest area. Requires a full clean driver's license.
Responsibilities:
- Support our distributed customer base around Derry/Londonderry and the Northwest.
- Multi-Vendor Consumer hardware maintenance (PCs, laptops, printers).
- Multi-Vendor Enterprise hardware maintenance (Servers, SANs, libraries).
- Hardware installation of telecommunications equipment (routers, switches, cabling).
- Network troubleshooting at hardware level.
- Occasional on-site Deskside Support.
- Experience of MS products (installation, support, troubleshooting) an advantage.
- Part of an on-call Rota team.
Requirements:
- Well-developed communication and customer-facing skills.
- Well-developed technical and troubleshooting skills to server level.
- Service-Delivery oriented and able to work under pressure to deadlines.
- Self-starting, reliable and able to work on own initiative.
- Good team player, fast-learning, adaptable and creative.
- Availability to work on a 24/7 on-call rota.
