HSE Analyst

The role of Safety Analyst is a critical position dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our workplace at ICT UK. As a Safety Analyst, you will play a pivotal role within the Health, Safety and Environmental team in identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, developing comprehensive safety protocols to mitigate workplace incidents and trend and route cause analysis. This position demands a thorough understanding of regulatory standards, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. In addition to your technical expertise, you will collaborate with various departments to implement safety initiatives and foster a culture of safety throughout the organization. Whether you\’re investigating incidents, designing training programs, or auditing our current practices, your contributions will be instrumental in safeguarding our most valuable asset—our people.

HSE Analyst Responsibilities & Duties

– Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards

– Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures

– Monitor workplace safety and ensure compliance with regulations

– Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and preventive measures

– Provide safety training and education to employees

– Collaborate with management to develop safety policies

– Prepare and present safety reports and statistics

– Evaluate and recommend safety equipment and resources

– Ensure correct documentation of safety procedures and incidents

– Stay updated on industry safety standards and regulations

– Assist in the monitoring and achievement of compliance of Environmental Site permits and requirements

Safety Analyst Qualifications & Skills

– NEBOSH Certificate

– Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections

– Knowledge UK safety regulations

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Proficiency in safety management software

– Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Attention to detail and strong organisational skills

– Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures

– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

– Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
