We have a great opportunity available in the Linguistics department of our Translation service line. As a Linguistic Administrator, you will primarily be responsible for completing a variety of operational and organisational tasks to support the translation workflow, taking into account any specific requirements for each task. You will also support the maintenance of linguistic reference materials.

The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, and will thrive in fast-paced environments where administrative responsibilities play a huge part in the delivery of our services. You’ll work alongside a diverse team of language enthusiasts, supporting our aims to deliver top-quality content to clients all over the globe.

Contract: Part-time (27.5 hours), fixed-term contract (until end of 2026), Monday-Friday

Salary: £25,000 (FTE)

  • Downloading/inputting of content
  • Updating data, such as in spreadsheets or systems
  • Collecting data and presenting it in the most appropriate format
  • Monitoring content platforms to identify specified content and reporting findings
  • Checking implementation of required actions in specific tasks and collating relevant information on existing trackers
  • Converting content from one format to another
  • Maintaining linguistic assets (e.g. glossaries, term bases, translation memories, non-translatable lists) and distributing them to internal teams and external vendors
  • Organising documents/databases
  • Reformatting/adjusting documents to given specifications
  • Checking accuracy of data and making corrections where necessary
