We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Litter Pickers. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of public spaces. Your efforts will contribute to a healthier environment and enhance the community’s overall well-being. There are 2 positions and require a proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7am-12pm and Friday – Sunday 7 am-12 pm
Rate of pay is £12.21 per hour
Duties
As a Litter Picker, your responsibilities will include:
Collecting litter and w
Emptying bins and replacing liners
Maintaining cleanliness in the center as assigned.
Engaging with the public in a friendly manner, providing information about your role and encouraging community involvement in keeping areas clean.
Reporting any issues or hazards encountered during your shift to the appropriate authorities.
Working collaboratively with team members to achieve cleanliness goals efficiently.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the public.
Proficiency in English to ensure clear communication with team members and the community.
A positive attitude and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
