We are seeking a professional, reliable, and motivated Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple client sites in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, and the South Bank area. This is a key operational role responsible for managing teams of cleaners, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring all sites operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise cleaning teams across multiple sites.
  • Ensure all sites meet high cleaning standards and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct regular site audits and quality inspections.
  • Recruit, train, and develop cleaning staff.
  • Deliver cleaning training and health & safety guidance to team members.
  • Manage staff rotas, timesheets, and attendance records.
  • Use Timegate or similar workforce management systems.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and respond promptly to service requests.
  • Attend customer meetings and internal management meetings.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels across all contracts.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure appropriate cleaning materials and equipment are available.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning management or supervisory roles preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • IT literate, with experience using workforce management systems (e.g., Timegate).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
