# Area Cleaning ManagerHull, East Yorkshire Region, HU3 2BP Full timeApply Now## About the RoleArea Cleaning Manager – Hull Permanent – Full time starting salary £30,000 Plus, depending on experience.Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Area Cleaning Manager to manage morning and evening cleaning contracts in The East Yorkshire Region. The role is diverse and will include the day-to-day management of cleaning staff across the operating area to ensure that cleaning services are delivered to the highest of standards and in line with our client’s specifications.**The Role**The successful applicant will be required to:· Manage a team of Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives to deliver a high-quality cleaning operation across numerous sites.· Manage and control the cleaning services in line with the agreed specification.· Recruit staff ensuring all correct paperwork is completed (including D.B.S. if required)· Complete staff inductions and carry out training.· Carry out site inspections, including machinery and stock checks.· Complete quality standard audits· Check and arbitrate time and attendance system.· Carry out disciplinary and Grievance hearings.· Arrange cover for staff’s holidays and sickness.· Liaise with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with the company’s Health & Safety Policy and safe working practices.· Carry out risk assessments.· Visit sites and liaise with customers.**The Candidate**The ideal candidate will:· Smart in appearance as a representative of our company· Motivate, manage and lead staff.· Be proactive and forward thinking.· Have excellent communication skills.· Be a team player.· Have experience in the cleaning sector.· Be flexible on working times (this is not a 9am to 5pm job)· Have a valid UK driving licence.· Be I.T. literate.· Have or be able to pass an enhanced D.B.S. check.· **Benefits*** Salary £30,000 plus.* Participation in quarterly bonus scheme* Company vehicle or car allowance* Laptop/PhoneICS Cleaning provides comprehensive school cleaning services with DBS-checked teams and structured education cleaning programmes across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.## What We're Looking ForExperience in the cleaning sector, valid UK driving licence, I.T. literacy, ability to pass an enhanced D.B.S. check, smart appearance, and leadership skills.**DBS check required.** This role is based at a school or education setting and requires an enhanced DBS check.## What ICS Provides* Full uniform provided* All equipment and cleaning products supplied* Induction and on-site training from day one* PAYE employment — no self-employment* Supportive local management team**Related cleaning services:** ICS Cleaning provides a range of commercial cleaning services across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
