About the role: As a Senior Digital Media Manager at ICP, embedded within Reckitt’s Media Trading team, you will play a key role in shaping digital media strategies and expanding the department by onboarding new markets. In this hybrid role, you will be both hands-on, developing and implementing digital media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales, while also introducing new teams to the department’s operating model, and successfully integrating them into Reckitt’s ways of working.
This position is part of Reckitt’s in-house Media Trading team, known as Applied Media Science (AMS). The AMS team oversees global digital media planning and activation, currently supporting seven markets, but set to grow significantly through 2025 as an increase in markets are seeing the value of this centralised model and plan to be onboarded through the year. The team collaborates with external agencies and internal stakeholders to uphold best practices, share insights, and drive ongoing growth across Reckitt’s digital media ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead digital strategies in collaboration with media and brand teams, leveraging social, programmatic, e-retailer, and search channels to meet business objectives.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality planning, execution, and optimisation of campaigns to achieve performance goals.
- Ability to analyse “as is” ways of working for markets being onboarded to the AMS team.
- Create and execute a transition plan for each to the centralised way of working.
- Develop and oversee the creation and implementation of global best practices for digital media trading across markets and brands.
- Collate and define actionable insights and recommendations from multiple campaign performance data, presenting opportunities to department leads to further optimise learning and efficiencies.
- Stay abreast of industry and platform developments, testing opportunities, and innovative solutions or automations to maintain a market-leading digital media presence.
- Educate internal and external teams on digital media best practices and advocate for its strategic benefits.
Team and Talent Management
- Manage high-performing teams, ensuring best practices, efficiency, and the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Foster team growth through skill development, training, mentorship, and guidance on industry best practices.
- Act as a mentor both within and outside the immediate team, supporting long-term career planning and professional development.
- Play an active role in talent recruitment and retention.
Thought Leadership and Strategy
- Drive innovative media trading strategies that set industry benchmarks, ensuring localisation flexibility across markets and brands.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to shape the strategic direction of digital media purchasing and trading processes.
- Build and share success stories and case studies to showcase process and/or campaign excellence and inspire teams across the organisation.
Person Profile Required Skills and Experience
- 6–8 years of experience in digital media, working with Account Directors, Marketing Directors, and/or senior marketing leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong relationships with clients and vendors alike.
- Proven success in delivering results across large-scale performance campaigns and cross-department collaboration.
- Expertise in managing and growing teams, including recruitment, training, retention, and career development.
- Previous hands-on experience with one or more of the common digital marketing platforms Reckitt use, such as Programmatic DSPs: DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, e-retailer platforms; Social Platforms: Meta, TikTok, and others; Search Platforms: Google Ads, Bing Ads; Analytics and Tech Tools: CM360, DoubleVerify, GA.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including confident presentation and written abilities.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and task prioritisation.
Desired Skills and Certifications
- Knowledge of DV360/GMP, Facebook Tech Stack, and related certifications.
- Google AdWords Certifications (e.g., Video Certification), DoubleClick Search, and Google Analytics (plus certifications preferred).
- Multilingual proficiency is an advantage.
