About The Role
We are looking for a proficient Program Manager with strong strategic project and program management and leadership experience to lead and coordinate large-scale initiatives across consulting, managed services, and creative operations engagements. This role is responsible for aligning strategic objectives with execution and overseeing a portfolio of projects while ensuring unified delivery across cross-functional teams. The Program Manager will lead the overall work efforts of project teams and is accountable for managing programs and projects throughout their entire lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings deep program and project leadership experience, knowledge of marketing and content operations, and the ability to drive outcomes for enterprise clients through structured, service-oriented delivery. This is a global hybrid role based in the UK, reporting to the Director, Operations, Business Optimization. The Program Manager serves in a full-time capacity and is up to 100% billable.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead programs across multiple consulting and managed services engagements related to marketing operations, digital content, and marketing technology.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between internal delivery teams, client stakeholders, and vendor partners.
- Align program objectives with client business goals, ensuring outcomes are measurable, scalable, and strategically sound.
- Manage interdependent project timelines, risks, and resources while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies; facilitate resolution and escalate issues when necessary.
- Track agreed-upon project metrics, milestones, and resources to ensure timely delivery of outcomes as defined in the Scope of Work.
- Develop program reporting and tracking frameworks and benchmarks.
- Translate project challenges into clear, actionable plans across teams.
- Maintain governance structures, reporting cadences, and stakeholder communications at both strategic and operational levels.
- Collaborate with account leadership to identify growth opportunities and continuously optimize delivery performance.
- Drive process maturity, knowledge sharing, and standardization across engagements.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through operational clarity, trusted leadership, and transparent communication.
- Establish policies, procedures, and best practices for program and project management.
- Provide updates on project portfolio performance and delivery resource management.
- Manage internal and external project resources.
- Develop strong working relationships with business partners, subject matter experts, support functions, and other key stakeholders.
- Recognize, clarify, and prioritize project plan activities.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale portfolios, programs, or digital initiatives.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a client-facing agency, consultancy, or professional services environment.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and large, complex initiatives.
- Strong command of project management frameworks, including PMBOK, Agile, and hybrid models.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Workfront, and Monday.com.
- Familiarity with CMS, DAM, PIM, eCommerce, MarTech, or related digital systems.
- Familiarity with the product development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of content management and digital content ecosystems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, lead teams, and engage stakeholders.
Preferred
- Master’s degree or MBA.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe).
- Experience with API integrations, platform configuration, and cloud/SaaS implementations.
- Technical understanding of web development, content architecture, or digital product workflows.
- Experience coaching or mentoring others in project management practices.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies.
- Background in creative or marketing operations is a plus.
