We're partnering with a high-growth, well-funded HR technology company (London HQ) that's redefining how modern businesses manage their people. Trusted by scaling organisations globally, they're continuing to invest in the UK market and are now hiring a Sales Manager to lead their upper mid-market segment.

This is a standout opportunity for a hands-on sales leader who still loves being close to deals. You'll inherit a small team of capable closers and play a key role in taking the function to the next level: tightening pipeline discipline, elevating executive access, and bringing a consistent deal process across the board.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead a small team (5-6) of UK mid-market AEs, coaching performance and raising standards across the full sales cycle.
  • Stay hands-on in key opportunities, supporting deal strategy, qualification and close.
  • Drive an outbound-led culture and improve pipeline creation and pipeline hygiene.
  • Sell into upper mid-market organisations (typically 500–1,000 employees) with complex, multi-stakeholder cycles.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders (CFO/CHRO/COO level) and help reps multi-thread effectively.
  • Embed and run a consistent MEDDPICC approach through deal reviews, forecasting and qualification discipline.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, SDR and Customer teams to improve conversion and execution.

This could suit you if...

  • You're a Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager / Player-Coach in B2B SaaS, ideally selling HR tech, HCM, or adjacent enterprise software.
  • You've led teams through complex, multi-month sales cycles and can clearly articulate how you've done it.
  • You're comfortable driving pipeline creation, not just managing inbound.
  • You've used MEDDPICC in live deals and can explain how you run it day-to-day (bonus if you've rolled it out across a team).
  • You can consistently get into, and influence, senior economic buyers.
  • You bring energy, curiosity and humility, and you enjoy building high-performance habits in a team.

What you'll get:

  • A genuine player/coach leadership role with influence and visibility.
  • The chance to take a strong team and raise the ceiling on pipeline generation and exec-level selling.
  • A fast-paced, high-accountability environment with strong support and ambition.
  • A competitive package with meaningful upside and clear progression.

If you're a hands-on SaaS sales leader who thrives in complex mid-market environments and enjoys building a high-performing team culture, I'd love to speak with you.
