ICP Search is looking for an experienced Social Media and Content Consultant to support the next phase of our growth. We operate across sport, media and technology, working with ambitious organisations to appoint senior leaders and high-performance talent. As the business continues to grow, we want to strengthen how we communicate our expertise, insights and market position, ensuring our brand continues to develop as a credible voice within the sectors we serve.
This is not a volume-driven social media role. It is a strategic content and brand position, working closely with the leadership team to shape how ICP Search shows up externally. Depending on experience, the consultant may also support elements of an upcoming brand evolution.
The Role
The consultant will take ownership of ICP Search’s LinkedIn content strategy and execution, ensuring consistency, quality and relevance across all output. You will work directly with the CEO and team to translate market insight, client work and industry trends into clear, engaging content that strengthens brand positioning and commercial credibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver ICP Search’s LinkedIn content strategy
- Create written content aligned with the company’s tone and positioning
- Develop visual content including carousels, graphics and simple video formats
- Repurpose podcast, market insight and leadership content into social formats
- Maintain consistency across company and leadership profiles
Brand & Positioning
- Help strengthen ICP Search’s voice across sport, media and technology markets
- Ensure content reflects expertise, credibility and commercial relevance
- Support brand consistency across messaging and visual output
- Contribute to ongoing brand development where appropriate
Strategic Contribution
- Bring ideas and challenge thinking constructively
- Identify content opportunities linked to industry trends and market activity
- Support campaigns around key hires, projects, events and announcements
Tools & Technical Capability
The consultant should be confident using modern content and design tools, including:
- LinkedIn (company and personal brand content, campaign planning, analytics and optimisation)
- Canva (visual content, carousels, social graphics)
- Adobe Photoshop or equivalent design tools (for image editing and brand-level visual work)
- Adobe Illustrator (desirable, for more advanced graphic work)
- Video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar (short-form video editing)
- Content scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer or similar
- Basic understanding of LinkedIn analytics and performance tracking
- Experience working with content repurposing tools, podcast content, or light motion graphics would be beneficial but not essential.
The Person
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience managing LinkedIn content for professional services, sport, media or technology brands
- Understands how to create content that builds authority rather than chasing engagement
- Is both a strong writer and visually aware
- Can balance creativity with commercial awareness
- Is comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders
- Works independently and takes ownership of outcomes
This role will suit an experienced consultant rather than a junior social media manager.
