ICP Search has partnered with a leading event, hospitality and venue operations business that delivers large-scale food, beverage, concessions and guest experience services across major UK live events. We are now looking for a Head of Venue to take senior ownership of one of their flagship venue partnerships. This is a strategic and operational leadership role, responsible for driving exceptional event delivery, strengthening the client relationship, and identifying opportunities to grow the account commercially.

The role would suit someone who has led complex venue, events, hospitality or large-scale operational environments, ideally within sport, motorsport, festivals, stadia, outdoor events or high-footfall visitor destinations.

As Head of Venue, you will act as the senior lead for the venue account, owning the relationship, the operational performance and the commercial success of all activity delivered on site. You will lead and develop the on-site leadership team, set clear standards, oversee major event delivery, and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the partnership continues to grow in value and quality. This is a visible role requiring strong client management, commercial judgement and the ability to bring teams together around high standards of delivery.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the operational and commercial strategy for a flagship venue account.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for the client and key venue stakeholders.
  • Oversee large-scale food, beverage, concessions and event operations.
  • Drive revenue growth, cost control, profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, coach and develop the on-site leadership and delivery teams.
  • Ensure high standards across guest experience, safety, compliance and service quality.
  • Manage senior planning, governance and performance review meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement and account growth.
  • Work cross-functionally with catering, bars, concessions, operations, marketing, brand partnerships and payment teams.
  • Support seasonal resourcing, succession planning and team development.
What we’re looking for:
  • Senior leadership experience across events, hospitality, venue management or large-scale operations.
  • Experience delivering high-footfall, complex or high-profile live events.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with evidence of improving revenue, profitability or operational performance.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, including senior client and executive-level engagement.
  • Experience leading and developing multi-site, venue-based or regional teams.
  • Good understanding of food and beverage operations, event logistics, licensing, health and safety and compliance.
  • Calm, credible leadership style with the ability to operate effectively during live delivery.
  • Ideally, experience across sport, motorsport, stadia, festivals or outdoor events.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a major, high-profile venue account with genuine strategic importance. The successful person will have the autonomy to shape delivery, develop a strong team, improve the guest experience and play a key role in the long-term growth of the partnership. The role is suited to someone who enjoys both the commercial and operational sides of venue leadership, and who can balance senior client management with hands-on event delivery oversight.
