ICP Search are working with a specialist technical consultancy and project delivery business supporting complex structural and technical builds across live environments, venues and stadia. The business operates across structural design, temporary and semi-permanent structures, rigging, and wider technology infrastructure including LED, broadcast and AV - partnering on high-value projects that require close coordination with structural engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and technical teams.

With growing activity across the UK and Europe, they are now seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong structural/engineering grounding to take ownership of project delivery from start to finish.

The Opportunity

This is an end-to-end project management role for someone who understands the physical build side of complex projects - not just the technology sitting on top of it. You'll be comfortable discussing load calculations, structural sign-off, and temporary structure design with engineers and consultants, as well as running the wider project.

You will be responsible for driving projects forward from early design and engineering planning through to structural installation and delivery, ensuring activity stays on track across timelines, engineering sign-off, and technical workstreams. The role will involve regular travel across the UK and Europe and would suit someone who enjoys being close to the physical build, solving engineering problems quickly, and making sure things get done safely and to spec.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to:

  • Lead projects from initial structural and technical planning through to completion
  • Coordinate structural engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and clients
  • Manage programmes, risk registers, load/compliance dependencies and structural sign-off across multiple projects
  • Oversee temporary and semi-permanent structure installation on site - grandstands, rigging, roof systems, staging
  • Support the integration of technology systems (LED, broadcast, AV) within a structurally sound build

What You'll Bring

  • Proven project management experience in a structural, construction, temporary structures or systems integration-led environment
  • Working knowledge of structural principles - load-bearing considerations, rigging, temporary structure compliance - even if not formally qualified as a structural engineer
  • Experience coordinating directly with structural engineers and consultants on live projects
  • Confidence working across engineering, technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership within a small, growing team
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Europe
  • Experience within venue build, temporary structures, staging, rigging, or large-scale event infrastructure would be highly beneficial. A background on the contractor, structural consultancy, or integrator side would also be of strong interest.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of complex structural and technical projects, and playing a key role in a growing business.
