Machine Operator

ICP is seeking a Machine/Mill Operator.
In this role you will be responsible for setting up and monitor the equipment for the raw materials, and operating machine controls with special attention to quality, follows established standard operating procedures with attention to safety rules and company policies.
This position is based in our Seaford, DE manufacturing plant.
Shift hours Monday through Friday 6am to 4:30 with some Saturdays as needed.
Hourly pay $20.00 to $22.50, depending on exp. Will train 7am to 4:30 for about two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Follows daily scheduled activities as indicated by supervisor.
- Assists in maintaining good housekeeping at his work area and throughout the facility.
- Helps or performs packaging set up, take down and clean up at fill lines.
- Feeds and operates filler lines following SOP and maintaining appropriate fill levels.
- Promptly reports any problems or out of the ordinary situations to supervisor.
- Follows standard operating procedures, company policies and safety regulations.
- Responsible for the daily upkeep of his assigned filler lines, and reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Responsible for selecting the correct packaging for each product to be filled.
- Strives for high productivity while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Ensures correct lot number is printed on every container filled at his line.
- Responsible for reporting and/or recording production counts on job sheets after each run.
- Ensures a high quality, clean, and well packaged product.
- May be required to assist in general labor tasks as required and indicated by supervisor.
- May be required to assist in the training of new personnel on the safe operation of filler lines.

- Ability to be flexible and adaptable, and change priorities and direction as needed.
- Must have a positive attitude towards work and have the ability to work well as a member of a team.
- After receiving training, employee must be able to show understanding and competency on safety rules and regulations by written or verbal examination.
- Ability to understand and follow posted signage throughout the facility.
- Clear understanding of lock-out, tag-out procedures.
- Must be familiar with the standard operating procedure and operator manual for the safe operation of the equipment.
- Clear understanding of Hazard communication policies.
- Exhibit a strong problem-solving aptitude.
Skills
- Experience in a factory asphalt environment, i. e. mixing/blending operations, making products by following prescribed company formulas and procedures, etc..
- Must have full range of motion to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop or kneel.
- Must be able to complete repetitive strenuous work under varying climate conditions.
- Safely lift up to 50 Lbs.
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to work in a plant environment with varying levels of temperature and physical requirements.
