Icons.com is the world's leading authenticated sports memorabilia company. We work with the biggest names in football and sport, producing officially signed shirts, boots, photos and display pieces that end up in collections all over the world. Our marketing team runs fast, shooting, editing, listing, promoting, broadcasting live on eBay, and pushing campaigns across email, paid social and PPC, often all in the same week. We also manage social media channels with over 1 million followers, reporting, next level content, site management, product development and more.

The role

We're looking for a Marketing Intern to join us for four months in a support role across our creative and product team. This isn't about coming in to run the digital marketing; it's about getting properly stuck in and helping a busy team keep things moving. You'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one across a clearly weighted mix of work:

  • 60% Product and Creative support
    • Helping with product creation and upload, supporting accurate product data
    • Picking photos for our framing styles and collections
    • Assisting with product photography and editing on Photoshop
    • Watermarking and editing photos ready for site use
    • Helping create upsells for product across our licensed collections
    • Assisting in creating materials needed for product authentication
    • Supporting site merchandising to keep the website looking sharp and commercially tuned
    • Supporting the creative team on day to day production work
  • 20% SEO and Email marketing support
    • Assisting in building and scheduling email campaigns
    • Supporting SEO work across product listings and site content
    • Helping pull and review performance data
  • 20% Content and wider marketing support
    • Helping schedule and post social media content across our channels
    • General marketing support for the team as required

Who we're after

We're open to recent graduates or candidates with some experience. What matters most is attitude, pace and a genuine interest in getting stuck in and supporting a busy team. You’ll need to be:

  • Comfortable working to tight turnarounds without losing accuracy
  • A strong team player who can also be trusted to crack on independently
  • Organised, proactive and happy to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Confident with Photoshop, email marketing, and spreadsheets
  • Familiar with eBay (as a seller or user)

Bonus points for: an interest in sport or football, previous experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, and any exposure to Magento or other marketing platforms.

You’ll be working alongside a tight, talented creative and marketing team in a business that's growing fast and doing genuinely interesting work in the sports world. For the right person, this role has every chance of becoming permanent.
