Our Client, a Behavioral Health company, is looking for a Dietician for their Chester, VA location.
Responsibilities
- The Registered Dietitian provides expert nutritional care to promote health and manage disease.
- Responsibilities include screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and consultations in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
- Screen and assess clients’ nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Assist in menu planning and recommend therapeutic diets and supplements.
- Advise clients and families on nutrition principles and healthy eating habits.
- Collaborate with physicians and dietary staff to ensure quality food service.
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- The Registered Dietitian is the nutrition expert providing all nutritional care to inpatient and outpatient populations to promote health and manage disease.
- Responsibilities include screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and consults in accordance with the guidance set forth in the Nutrition Service policies and procedures and Hospital regulations governing the practice of dietetics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
- Registered Dietitian (or eligible for state endorsement).
- Experience with eating disorders and substance abuse preferred.
- SERV Safe or equivalent food safety certification (as required).
- 1+ years of experience, as well as experience with Eating Disorders and Substance Use Disorder strongly preferred in facilities working with those patient populations.
