Responsibilities

  • System Design: Create end-to-end AV solutions for boardrooms, immersive spaces, and global UC deployments.
  • Documentation: Develop detailed signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and reflected ceiling plans.
  • DSP & Control Logic: Configure and optimize advanced audio signal chains and control workflows (Crestron/Q-SYS).
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs meet AVIXA (CTS) standards and internal cybersecurity protocols for networked AV devices.
  • Project Leadership: Act as the technical SME during client meetings, site surveys, and final system commissioning.

Requirements

  • Core Hardware/Software: Crestron: Proficiency with NVX (AV-over-IP), Flex, and advanced control logic.
  • Q-SYS: Expert-level knowledge of Q-SYS Designer, including scripting and UCI design.
  • Biamp: Mastery of Tesira platforms (Dante/AVB integration).
  • Unified Communications: Expert deployment of Zoom Rooms and Poly hardware ecosystems.
  • Experience with AI-driven camera tracking and beamforming microphone arrays.
  • Design Tools: AutoCAD 3+ years of professional drafting experience.
  • Bluebeam: For submittal reviews and redlining.
  • Networking: Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, and Multicast traffic management (essential for AV-over-IP).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a dedicated AV Engineering or Design role.
  • Education: College degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or other related Engineering.
  • 10 years of AV design experience.
  • Crestron certification MTA or MCP.
  • QSYS Level 2 or 3.
