We are seeking an experienced and passionate IFS FSM Functional Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of field service processes and hands-on experience working with IFS Field Service Management (FSM) solutions. You will work closely with clients to gather requirements, configure solutions, and support project delivery across the IFS FSM landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and gather detailed requirements.
- Design and configure IFS FSM modules to meet client-specific needs.
- Conduct gap analysis and suggest best practices for optimizing FSM processes.
- Lead functional workshops, solution design sessions, and user training.
- Provide functional support during IFS FSM upgrades and implementations.
- Work closely with technical teams to support integration, customisations, and data migration.
- Develop functional documentation including solution blueprints, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Support testing phases (SIT/UAT) and assist with issue resolution.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience working as an IFS FSM Functional Consultant.
- Hands-on experience with IFS Field Service Management modules including Work Orders, Contracts & Warranties, Resource Planning / PSO, Mobile FSM, Inventory & Logistics (related to FSM).
- Strong understanding of business processes in service industries.
- Experience working with IFS Cloud or IFS Apps 10 is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of IFS PSO (Project and Service Operations) is an added advantage.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in onshore/offshore delivery models.
- Ability to independently handle functional streams in implementation or upgrade projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- IFS Certified in FSM or relevant modules.
- Experience in upgrading/migration projects (e.g., FSM 5.7 to 6.0, Apps 9/10 to Cloud).
- Exposure to integrations between IFS FSM and third-party systems (CRM, ERP, etc.).
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Service Management, Chemical & Process, Mechanical, Maintenance or equivalent.
