Position Summary As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering innovative projects across a wide array of vertical markets using our best-in-class automation software that can visualize, analyse, and mobilize real-time and historical information for any application on any device. Key Responsibilities Work directly with the customer design, implement, and deliver the solutions to meet and exceed for the customer’s requirements. Work as part of the growing team & provide leadership to more junior members. Take full ownership of the tasks and deliverables. Identify improvements and opportunities in the design, implementation, and delivery of cycle. Open Communication and information exchange with the software development team. Manage the client relationship from a technical and commercial engagement. Report to the business weekly on project status include risks and further opportunities. Skills and Qualifications Education and Experience Proven work experience as a Project Engineer in a similar role. SCADA experience OPC & BACNET experience Database, SQL, OLEDB, Webservices experience. All Project Management activities, including: – Scope, Activity, Resource Management. – Risk, Time, Cost Management. – Progress Reporting to the Project Board. – Microsoft Project. Technical Skills Creativity, problem-solving, passion and attention to detail Good time-management skills, to delivery on programme. Team Leadership Team spirit: Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Working with Vendors. Project Quality Control. The Successful applicant should be able to align to these ‘nice to have’ skill sets. Basic knowledge of Azure Infrastructure & Components Awareness of SCADA, Historians, GUI design and other types of communication protocols. Proficient in working with ICONICS software components & web-based configuration environments. Project managements skills similar to Prince 2.
