Web Developer and UX Designer

ICONICS is seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer and UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and improving user experiences for our web-based applications and websites. You will work closely with our marketing and IT teams to create user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

User Research and Analysis

• Identify user needs and objectives through surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
• Create user personas, user journeys, and storyboards to illustrate and inform design decisions.

Design and Prototyping

• Develop wireframes and mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
• Design user interfaces for web applications and websites, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.
• Create interactive prototypes to test design concepts and gather feedback.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with user experience best practices.
• Collaborate with marketing and content writers to ensure design consistency and brand alignment.
• Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.

Usability and Accessibility

• Ensure designs meet usability standards and are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve designs.
• Stay up to date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.

Project Management

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintain design documentation and project files.
• Provide design support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Experience with digital marketing, preferably within a multi-national SaaS or technology company.
• Strong portfolio showcasing web design and UX projects.

Technical Skills

• Experience with content management systems (Kentico is a plus).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (or a comparable Marketing Automation platform) and Salesforce preferred.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
• Superb organizational, time management, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail.
