Project Engineer SCADA

As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering innovative projects across a wide array of vertical markets using our best-in-class automation software that can visualize, analyse, and mobilize real-time and historical information for any application on any device.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work directly with the customer to design, implement, and deliver solutions that meet and exceed the customer’s requirements.
2. Work as part of the growing team and provide leadership to more junior members.
3. Take full ownership of the tasks and deliverables.
4. Identify improvements and opportunities in the design, implementation, and delivery cycle.
5. Maintain open communication and information exchange with the software development team.
6. Manage the client relationship from a technical and commercial engagement perspective.
7. Report to the business weekly on project status, including risks and further opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience

1. Proven work experience as a Project Engineer in a similar role.
2. SCADA experience.
3. Experience in all Project Management activities, including:
   – Scope, Activity, Resource Management.
   – Risk, Time, Cost Management.
   – Progress Reporting to the Project Board.
   – Microsoft Project.

Technical Skills

1. Creativity, problem-solving, passion, and attention to detail.
2. Good time-management skills to deliver on programme.
3. Team leadership.
4. Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
5. Experience working with vendors.
6. Project Quality Control.

The successful applicant should be able to align with these ‘nice to have’ skill sets:

1. Basic knowledge of Azure Infrastructure and Components.
2. Awareness of SCADA, Historians, GUI design, and other types of communication protocols.
3. Proficient in working with ICONICS software components and web-based configuration environments.
4. Project management skills similar to Prince 2.
