As a Maintenance Apprentice at ICoNiChem, you'll gain hands‑on experience maintaining critical equipment on an Upper Tier COMAH site. Learn from experienced engineers, develop fault‑finding and maintenance skills, and complete accredited training including First Aid, FLT, MEWPs, Abrasive Wheels, Slinging and Confined Space Entry.

You will work alongside experienced technicians and engineers to safely and efficiently support the manufacturing process. This can involve:
- Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and production equipment.
- Diagnose faults using mechanical drawings, measurement tools, and root‑cause techniques.
- Fabricate, fit, and align components to tolerances; replace bearings, seals, and belts.
- Support installation, commissioning, and improvement projects to boost uptime and safety.
- Document work accurately following permit‑to‑work systems, safe isolations, and site safety standards.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams (electrical, safety, production) to resolve issues quickly.
This programme is designed to provide you with the training, development, and practical experience necessary to enhance your knowledge and skills, preparing you for a future position within the organisation.
