Iconic Resourcing is working with a values-led organisation to appoint an experienced Employee Relations professional to step into a dedicated ER investigations and casework role. This opportunity would suit someone who genuinely enjoys the detail and complexity of employee relations and prefers to focus on hands-on case management, rather than the broader strategic elements of a traditional HR role.
The role
- Leading disciplinary and grievance investigations end-to-end
- Producing clear, well-structured investigation reports with practical recommendations
- Supporting managers with long-term absence and performance concerns
- Providing confident, pragmatic ER advice grounded in employment law
- Working closely with operational leaders to ensure fair, consistent outcomes
- Contributing to continuous improvement in ER processes and ways of working
What we’re looking for
- Strong, proven experience in ER investigations and casework
- Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law
- Confidence advising and coaching managers through challenging situations
- Clear, professional written skills – especially for investigation reports
- Ability to work autonomously, manage deadlines, and prioritise competing cases
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
Why consider it?
- Clear scope and focus
- Home-based role with infrequent travel
- Opportunity to make an immediate impact in a well-established HR function
If you’re an ER specialist who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and being the “go-to” person for investigations and casework, this is a role worth exploring. Get in touch for a confidential conversation.
