If you’re an NQ Solicitor with a keen interest in property law and looking to do something a little different, this could be the perfect next step.

A leading Scottish law firm is offering a rare opportunity to join their specialist Rural Property team in Edinburgh working on high-value, complex transactions involving land, estates, forestry, and renewable energy. It’s a chance to stand out, build real expertise, and grow your career in a sector that’s both commercially important and ever-evolving.

Working alongside experts in the field, you’ll support clients across a broad spectrum of rural property matters. From the sale and purchase of farms, estates, and forestry, to advising on agricultural tenancies, renewable energy developments, and emerging natural capital projects, this is a chance to gain true breadth of experience in a growing area of law. You’ll benefit from hands-on exposure, close mentoring, and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships from day one.

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t need rural property experience, but property law exposure is essential. The team is open to candidates from commercial or residential property backgrounds who are eager to specialise and develop in this space.

Ideal candidates will also bring:

• Attention to detail and a conscientious, collaborative mindset
• A proactive approach to learning and client service
