Senior Solicitor – Property Dispute Resolution
PQE: 2–4 years
Edinburgh, Hybrid Working
Join a growing and dynamic property litigation team in Edinburgh, led by a highly-regarded specialist in dispute resolution. This role offers exposure to diverse and challenging legal matters across commercial, agricultural, and private estate sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical, commercially sound advice on property-related disputes including rent/service charge recovery, lease irritancy, dilapidations, title issues, and unauthorised occupiers.
- Handle cases across several jurisdictions such as the Sheriff Court, Court of Session, Scottish Land Court, Lands Tribunal for Scotland, Housing & Property Chamber (First Tier Tribunal), and Planning Appeals.
- Conduct advocacy and supervise possession recovery actions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Commercial Real Estate and Rural Land & Business teams.
- Support business development for the dispute resolution practice.
Your Profile
- Qualified solicitor with 2–4 years’ PQE in property litigation, ideally including exposure to a variety of tribunals and courts.
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload and delivering high-quality client service both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates strong judgment, organisational skills, and a collaborative mindset.
