We’re partnering with a highly respected national law firm to identify a talented and ambitious senior solicitor to join their Personal Injury team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a firm’s strategic growth in Scotland, working alongside a nationally recognised personal injury specialist. You’ll play a key role in shaping the direction of the Scottish Serious Injury practice handling complex, high-value cases and contributing to the firm’s mission of helping clients rebuild their lives after life-changing events.
The Opportunity
As a senior member of the team, you’ll take on a leadership role in managing a varied and high-value caseload, including catastrophic injury, brain and spinal injury, amputation, and fatal accident claims. Working within a supportive and collaborative environment, you’ll also help to mentor junior team members, develop client relationships, and contribute to business development as the firm continues to expand its Scottish presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a caseload of complex and serious injury claims from start to resolution.
- Provide expert, empathetic, and commercially sound legal advice to clients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Scotland and the wider UK firm to deliver excellent results.
- Contribute to team strategy, marketing, and client development in Scotland.
- Support and mentor junior lawyers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
- Play an integral role in shaping the firm’s Scottish growth story within the Serious Injury practice.
About You
We’re looking for a qualified solicitor with significant experience in personal injury litigation, from a pursuer background. You’ll bring technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and an appetite for being part of a high-profile growth story. You will demonstrate:
