Are you an experienced sales leader with a passion for driving business growth and operational excellence? Do you thrive in a fast paced, process-driven environment where you can make a real impact? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are working with a global engineering firm with offices in Glasgow to take ownership of one of the offices in Govan, overseeing both commercial and operational functions. You’ll be responsible for driving profitability, leading a high-performing team, and strengthening key client relationships to ensure continued success.

Day to day you will:

  • Take full P&L ownership, drive profitable growth, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring strong operational delivery.
  • Build lasting client relationships and develop strategic partnerships to meet evolving demands.
  • Implement robust processes to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, improve service offerings, and drive a customer-first approach.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in a management role.
  • Experience within engineering, distribution, manufacturing or similar.
  • Experience owning P&L and successfully managing profit and cost centres.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in motivating and influencing a team.
  • Commercial expertise in sales, key account development and customer relationship management.
  • A data-driven, process orientated mindset with a keen focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Confidence and drive to challenge the status quo and push business performance to the next level.
