We’re supporting a hugely successful organisation as they look to appoint a Senior HR Advisor to join them, in a standalone, generalist role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys providing end-to-end people support, partnering closely with managers, and playing a hands-on role in shaping HR activity across the business.
As Senior HR Advisor, you’ll act as the first point of contact for all HR matters, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll support day-to-day operations while also contributing to the wider HR strategy.
This role would suit someone confident working autonomously, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to balance operational delivery with longer-term people initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Managing a range of employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinaries, absence, and performance issues
- Supporting and delivering recruitment activity, from role scoping through to offer and onboarding
- Developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Administering contracts, variations, and employee documentation
- Supporting reward and benefits administration, including salary reviews and benefits processes
- Contributing to HR strategy, people initiatives, and continuous improvement projects
- Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and best practice
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role
- Confident handling ER cases independently
- Experience working in a standalone or autonomous HR role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Comfortable supporting recruitment and wider people initiatives
- Highly organised with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
