An opportunity has arisen to join the residential conveyancing team of a highly regarded and growing law firm, known for delivering a high standard of client service and for investing in its people. This role is based in Edinburgh and would suit an experienced Residential Paralegal who enjoys managing transactions end-to-end, working closely with clients, and being part of a collaborative, supportive team.
You\’ll play a key role within a busy residential conveyancing practice, acting on behalf of clients purchasing new-build properties as well as managing related sales and remortgage matters where applicable. The work is varied and client-facing, requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to keep matters progressing to agreed timescales.
Responsibilities will include taking client instructions, progressing missives, drafting and issuing legal documentation (including reporting on title), managing files accurately and efficiently, and maintaining regular communication with clients, agents, and other stakeholders. You\’ll also support post-settlement activity with the assistance of a conveyancing support team.
