Paralegal – Residential Property (Private Client)

Are you ready to join a dynamic team supporting clients in residential property matters? We are seeking a Paralegal to work alongside experienced solicitors in our Private Wealth, Tax and Employment department in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in conveyancing while working directly with clients in a supportive and professional environment.
As a Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting conveyancing transactions, including preparing transfers of title, discharges of standard securities, and related documentation. You will also assist with ordering legal reports, managing LBTT registrations, and maintaining effective client communication throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and legal support across the house sales process
- Draft correspondence and legal documents accurately and efficiently
- Manage LBTT submissions, registration forms, and order property reports
- Liaise with the wider legal support team to ensure excellent client service
- Track and report on the progress of applications and property transactions
- Attend training, CPD sessions, networking events, and support business development initiatives
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by supervising solicitors
We are looking for someone with:
- A solid understanding of Scottish residential property conveyancing, including both sasine and land-registered titles
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
- Good IT skills and familiarity with office systems and file management
- A proactive, professional, and team-oriented approach, with attention to detail
