What you'll do
- You’ll lead a diverse portfolio of restructuring and turnaround engagements, including creditor advisory mandates, company turnarounds, independent business reviews, accelerated sales, contingency planning, and formal insolvency appointments.
- Acting as the main point of contact for multiple clients, you’ll oversee case strategy, manage risk, and ensure seamless delivery, while mentoring and developing your team.
- You’ll also contribute to business development, preparing pitches, identifying opportunities, and helping shape new services and solutions.
- With full accountability for compliance, risk management, budgets, and billing, you’ll combine technical excellence with commercial acumen to drive both client and departmental success.
What you'll need
- 10–15 years’ experience in restructuring, turnaround, or distressed advisory within a professional services or consulting firm.
- Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent); insolvency qualifications advantageous but not essential.
- Proven track record managing complex projects, client relationships, and high-profile engagements.
- Strong network of industry contacts and ability to generate new opportunities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Commercially astute, proactive, and capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
