This is a key role, managing customer invoicing, cash allocation, and credit control to ensure a healthy cash flow and accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be experienced, meticulous, and driven to deliver high-quality work. You'll take ownership of your responsibilities, work systematically, and communicate confidently with colleagues and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raise and issue accurate, timely sales invoices.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and maintain up-to-date debtor records.
  • Allocate cash receipts and monitor overdue accounts, following up where necessary.
  • Liaise with Account Managers to ensure invoicing reflects completed work and month-end checks.
  • Produce debtor reports and provide insights for management review.
  • Resolve invoicing and payment queries promptly and professionally.
  • Raise sales and credit notes, with exposure to CIS valuations.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative and reporting tasks.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, sales ledger, or credit control.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
  • Confident communicator with both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience using Xero (including Xero Go), with the ability to support configuration if needed.
  • Skilled at prioritising and managing your own workload.
  • Understanding of the construction industry and consolidated invoicing is advantageous.
