Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with a global firm in their search for a Financial Accountant to join the business. This role is wide-ranging, taking in elements of financial and technical accounting, management accounting and business partnering. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant either from practice or industry but with a strong understanding of accounting standards as well as a competent business partner. On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package including hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end to end financials across a number of legal entities
- Analyse trends and variances in the profit and loss account and balance sheet
- Conduct review and approval tasks at month-end, including complex journal entries and reconciliations of the balance sheet
- Examine general ledger activity, investigate and rectify any account discrepancies
- Conduct in-depth analyses of the balance sheet and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely financial reporting for the EMEA region.
- Run monthly business reviews with stakeholders
- Be an effective business partner with stakeholders both internal and external to the business
- Support with various continuous improvement projects
Previous Experience:
The successful candidate will likely be a fully qualified accountant with experience in practice or industry with an understanding of financial and management accounting principles. Experience in a similar role would be highly beneficial but not absolutely essential. The role will have a significant business partnering element so strong skills in this area are essential, being able to effectively communicate with senior leaders. On offer is an excellent salary plus bonus and benefits including hybrid working.
