Iconic Resourcing are excited to be working in partnership with our client, a well-established and market leading business in Stirling to recruit a Group Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Group Accountant will be responsible for supporting the management accounting, annual financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, commentary and associated analysis for a number of the Group's entities. This role is well suited to an experienced Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant with experience in industry. On offer is a strong salary and benefits package including hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of consolidated management accounts and financial statements for the group.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, including HMRC and IFRS standards.
- Liaise with auditors and support the year-end audit process.
- Manage financial reporting processes and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Oversee and enhance internal financial controls.
- Work closely with project teams to provide financial guidance.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
Key Requirements:
- Our client is seeking a PQ or newly qualified accountant with experience in a similar role in industry, such as another Group Accountant role or Management Accountant role.
- You will have a strong process improvement mindset and be able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Effective communication across the Group is required.
