Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be retained by our key client in their search for an experienced Financial Accountant. Our client is an international organisation committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence. This role will report directly to the UK Head of Finance and joins an already high performing finance function with years of experience in the industry. The successful candidate will likely be a fully qualified Accountant, or QBE, with strong technical knowledge as well as an excellent business partnering mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Financial and management reporting across multiple departments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and control account management
- Supporting the UK Head of Finance with financial analysis and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Contributing to month-end and year-end close processes
- Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Process improvement and systems development initiatives
- Provide Finance support for major operational and Capex related projects and financial modelling of ad hoc operational change scenarios
- Liaise with external parties regarding tax and banking
This role is best suited for a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ICAS) or Qualified by Experience with relevant financial accounting experience who can bring:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience within manufacturing, production, or similar commercial environments (desirable)
- Excellent Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
- Proactive approach with keen attention to detail
