We are working with a leading Scottish independent firm to recruit a Solicitor to join their Private Client team based in Edinburgh. The role offers exposure to high value, complex matters, acting for some of the firm's largest and longest standing landed estate and high net worth family clients. You will work closely with experienced partners and senior solicitors, receiving mentorship and support, including sponsorship towards STEP qualification.
The role involves a broad range of private client matters including:
- Meeting clients and advising on wills and powers of attorney, including drafting and execution
- Advising on succession planning, asset protection and tax planning
- Drafting and advising on trusts, including ongoing trust administration and wind ups
- Gaining exposure to executry administration
- Supporting business development initiatives
They are looking for someone ideally from NQ to 4 years PQE but will explore more senior candidates for the team.
