The Role
The firm are seeking a Senior Solicitor or Associate (3+ PQE) with solid hands-on Employment Tribunal experience. This team handles significant, often high-profile, litigation for a broad range of employers across Scotland, including public sector bodies, large commercial organisations, and SMEs.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage a busy caseload of Employment Tribunal matters
- Carry out their own advocacy, with support and supervision from accredited specialists
- Provide day-to-day employment law advice to employer clients
- Work on both employer and employee matters, gaining balanced experience
- Assist with drafting contracts, policies and non-contentious employment documentation
- Support on TUPE matters, often working alongside corporate colleagues
- Contribute to training sessions and workshops for clients and external organisations
Prior experience working with government or public sector clients is advantageous but not essential.
