You’ll become part of a specialist insolvency team where your contribution is valued, your workload is varied, and your development is actively supported.

The Role

Working closely with Managers and senior team members, you’ll help administer a varied caseload of predominantly corporate insolvency appointments, with the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of smaller cases. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the realisation of assets, including book debts, property and cash at bank
  • Managing creditor claims and responding to queries professionally and efficiently
  • Liaising with banks to obtain balances and statements
  • Supporting employee‑related matters, including correspondence, claims, and liaison with the RPS and pension providers
  • Preparing and submitting statutory returns, including those to HMRC
  • Handling telephone and written enquiries from key stakeholders
  • Providing general support to the wider insolvency team as required

About You

You’ll ideally have 2–3 years’ experience working within an insolvency team, along with a proactive and organised approach. You’ll also bring:

  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage deadlines and work independently
  • A commitment to delivering a high standard of service to clients and colleagues
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office (experience with IPS Cloud is desirable but not essential — full training provided)
  • Flexibility and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
