We have partnered with a leading Scottish law firm as they look to appoint a Practice Support Manager to support their Personal Family division. This is a newly created role within a wider transformation of the support function and offers the opportunity to play a genuinely influential role within a modern, evolving environment.
This position combines people leadership with operational management, making it well suited to someone who enjoys improving processes, supporting teams and driving positive change. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the practice area to ensure support functions operate efficiently while identifying smarter and more effective ways of working.
The firm has invested heavily in its support structure and technology, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, collaboration and innovation. You’ll also work alongside a wider community of Practice Support Managers across the business, sharing ideas, best practice and supporting wider initiatives together.
The Role: You’ll oversee an established support team whilst acting as a key operational support partner to the wider legal team. Responsibilities will include:
- Line management and development of support colleagues.
- Managing workload allocation, resource planning and team capacity.
