Iconic Resourcing is working with a well-known business in Glasgow to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to step into a technically demanding, high-visibility role within a large, complex finance function.
Due to the nature of this contract, we're looking for candidates who are available to start at short notice.
The Role Reporting into the senior finance team, you'll take ownership of the accurate and timely production of financial returns across statutory, internal, and stakeholder reporting.
You'll act as the technical lead on group accounting standards, providing training and guidance to the wider team and overseeing accounting for areas including IFRS 16 leases, revenue recognition, holiday pay accruals, inventories, and dilapidations.
